From the UN to the Neighborhood

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere.

Adopted by all United Nations Member States in September 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the Goals set out a 15-year plan to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges through a shared, inclusive framework. Never before had world leaders pledged such unified action across a broad and universal policy agenda. (more)
